So the first major persistent snowfall forecast for South Wales this year is due over the next few days. There was snow on the Brecon Beacons this morning and temperatures have dropped substantially. Sunday, Monday and possibly Tuesday should see a lot of snowfall on the high ground of the Beacons. This winter has been so different to last year’s and so I guess any opportunity to go out in the snow has to be grabbed with both hands. Spring is just around the corner.
I might have to have a wander up into the hills this weekend just to check out the snow and to blow the cobwebs off the crampons and ice axe. Maybe this time I will be lucky with the fog not spoiling the views and the photographs
Watch this space…..
Its got to be done
