One day to go…..

Well I’m excited and the kids are simmering not-so-quietly to themselves. The camping holiday to St Ives kicks off tomorrow. The trailer is packed but the normal Tardis-inspired packing of the car itself will wait until the morning. The thing that gets me is how come it all fits in when you go but when you pack to come back it appears you’ve gained the equivalent of 4 extra suitcases worth of stuff? The forecast is looking interesting……rainy on the day we put up the tent (groan) but pretty good the rest of the week. I feel that a record time for the tent being put up will be achieved tomorrow.

Assuming the weather holds up for most of the week, I cant see us doing much more than mooching around St Ives itself and hopefully having a couple of days on Porthgwidden beach

If the weather is not so great then it’ll be sou’westers and a few bracing walks followed by big steaming mugs of coffee in various strategically placed cafes.

That can be fun too.
