St Ives Trip photos’s uploaded

Well, I have managed to finally get around to uploading the holiday pictures from my trip to St Ives.  Just an assortment of pictures from around the campsite and St Ives

The Swimming Pool at Polmanter campsit

The Swimming Pool at Polmanter campsite

A very nice time was had by all in the swimming pool on the campsite. Unbelievably we had the pool to ourselves for hours at a time. It certainly was the icing on the cake for the holiday and the kids had to be crowbarred out of it every day. Sometime we didnt get out until way past lunch before sauntering into St Ives for a cream tea or two

The tent pitch

This is our beast of a tent, the Vango Aspen 700 DLX, as pitched on the campsite. Notice the strategically placed comfy chair out the front, normally with beer bottle inserted into cup holder……

If you look down the track, you can just see the backs of my kids, who are gambolling and sprinting for St Ives. We walked in and out of St Ives everyday and even the kids didnt complain. Well we had to work off all those cream teas somehow 🙂

We did spend an awfully long amount of time in the pool and the kids really enjoyed it.

This is us relaxing just off to the side of Porthmeor beach in St Ives. We followed a small portion of the South West path from St Ives towards Zennor. Not 1/2 a mile out of St Ives and the countryside becomes wild and stark

Another lovely day in St Ives comes to a close. I really cant fault the weather we had and it really was a lovely holiday. Cant wait to go back next year….

Polmanter campsite which is just a couple of miles outside of St Ives. One of the best campsites I have been to and a great walk to get into the town
