Here it is, the end of the year.
Another strange year to be sure. I started with one job and living in Staffordshire and ended it with a different job and living back in South Wales. I’ve seen more snow this year than for a very long time (in South Wales). I’ve made an effort and kept my blog up to date and its now 16months old. I’ve done a fair amount of walking but not a huge amount of wilderness camping. A very mixed but nethertheless completely unboring year to be sure.
I just want to say that I hope everyone has a great new year and I hope to see you out there in the hills perhaps. Oh and many thanks to James over at Backpackingbongos . The Buffalo shirt I won in his December competition arrived today and its a perfect fit. Thanks James, much appreciated!
Happy New Year All
best wishes for the new year
thank you Robin and to you and yours
Get that Buffalo shirt out on them hills and have a good new year.
I’ll try Martin. Its very warm and a different feel to anything I have had before. Happy New Year
Happy New Year, just might cross your path in the Brecons someday.
let me know when you are in the vacinity Geoff 🙂
All the best Dave!
cheers Dave and to you
Happy new year matey and here’s hoping we all get out a bit more for some good old wild camping fun. All the best.
absolutely Marcus, I’ll drink to that.
Dave, I hope you and your family arrived well in 2010. I have a magic fascination with Wales, and hope that this year I might be able to make a trip over to the UK, Wales and Scotland particularly, and walk with some of the outdoor bloggers there =) I’ll let you know if I drop by for a walk, so that the Buffalo shirt gets to see the hills!
I hope you do get to come over Hendrik. The Welsh hills have a magic all of their own. Mysticism, history and of course gorgeous views. When you do make it over drop me a line beforehand
Have a good un. At some point I’ll head to the Brecons this year, so we’ll have to hook up. Baz
indeed yes Baz. By all means drop me a line upon firming of plans. It would be a pleasure and an honour
Happy New Year Dave, glad that the Buffalo shirt arrived in time for New Year and that it is a good fit. You certainly will not be cold wearing it!
absolutely not. Its as warm as a warm thing on a warm day 🙂
