Year’s End

Here it is, the end of the year.

Another strange year to be sure. I started with one job and living in  Staffordshire and ended it with a different job and living back in South Wales. I’ve seen more snow this year than for a very long time (in South Wales). I’ve made an effort and kept my blog up to date and its now 16months old. I’ve done a fair amount of walking but not a huge amount of wilderness camping. A very mixed but nethertheless completely unboring year to be sure.

I just want to say that I hope everyone has a great new year and I hope to see you out there in the hills perhaps. Oh and many thanks to James over at Backpackingbongos . The Buffalo shirt I won in his December competition arrived today and its a perfect fit. Thanks James, much appreciated!

Happy New Year All

Dave, I hope you and your family arrived well in 2010. I have a magic fascination with Wales, and hope that this year I might be able to make a trip over to the UK, Wales and Scotland particularly, and walk with some of the outdoor bloggers there =) I’ll let you know if I drop by for a walk, so that the Buffalo shirt gets to see the hills!

I hope you do get to come over Hendrik. The Welsh hills have a magic all of their own. Mysticism, history and of course gorgeous views. When you do make it over drop me a line beforehand
