Bluebell hunting this weekend

I have made a pact with the kids. They want to walk across the Severn Bridge and I want to visit my secret Bluebell fields. We’ll do both and hopefully the camera wont pack in this time! We might even fit in a visit to some Castles as well. If I am particularly energetic I might even put the inflatable pool up….for the kids of course.

On another note, only 3 weeks until the mass dads and lads and daughter trip to mid Wales. If the weather is as good as this weekend it will be truly excellent. Really looking forward to this one and even the kids are keen. Normally I have to bribe them….!

An inflatable pool and bluebells… sounds very remote to me! Although, most of the time we are already having temperatures above freezing now.

Your pact with your kids sounds good, both-and is better than either-or. Have a great weekend!

I saw your post in my google reader and thought it said babybell hunting – cheese in the woods?

      lol

back from phase 1 of the weekend walks. Severn Bridge done! Kids (inc a friends waif too) loved it although it was really quite warm today. It was so warm that we have decided to lounge about the garden this afternoon and go for the Bluebell walk tomorrow

      🙂
