Black Mountains Horseshoe Walk – I’m back!

Just a quick update to say that the planned walk around the Black Mountains went off without a hitch for once. The weather was cool and apart from early morning mist gave good visibility. The best bit was the early morning start and a cracking sunrise. I will pay for it later but it was worth getting up uber early to get out on the hills by 6am.

.

As always, a fuller write up when I have collected my thoughts, massaged my legs into shape and sorted my photos out! For now a quick photo of the sunrise coming up over Sugar Loaf

      thanks Ben.

Something nice about being the only person up early and on a mountain with a great sunrise.

I had it all to myself…
