Cycling for pleasure and pain…..

Another day, another ride. This time we did 67 miles and 4000 feet of climbing. A long loop around the Wye Valley, Monmouth and the Usk Valley made for cycling pleasure. Fun she says. I tend to agree although my legs, back and knees would disagree 🙂 What made me laugh was doing another 10 miles and 500 unplanned feet of climbing at the end of the ride to hit the 4000ft mark. Still, it was a good ride and makes me want to do another one equally tough and challenging.

There’s always next weekend 😀

    67 Miles!!
That’s some serious mileage on two wheels. That’s the equivalent of riding from my house in Chepstow to Swansea. Think I would need a lift home with the Welsh Ambulance service if I did that.
    Well done you.
How long did the ride take?

      thanks Richie

got another one planned for next month thats slightly longer and a wee bit higher. My aim for the year is to do a 100miler sometime and to cycle North to South Wales over 2 days

in for a penny, in for a pound 🙂

You certainly seem to be taking this training lark seriously. Next you will be doing a LEJOG in a week:)
