France…here we come!

Just a quick last post before radio silence and our 10 day trip to France. The bags are being packed, the car is starting to take on the look of Mr Creosote and the kids are hyper beyond belief (so are we truth be told!). Tonorrow sees us driving down to Portsmouth and and overnight ferry to Le Havre. An early mrning start and a drive across France from North to South. Yes it will be tiring but I also look forward to seeing France in all its glory. 4 times the size of Britain and yet the same population = wide open spaces and rural bliss for much of the country.

Culture, cycling, the Tour de France, fabulous weather and rural France await us.

I may not be able to get to sleep tonight 🙂

Have a nice trip you all, enjoy!

And welcome to Finland if you like some wide open spaces… We have 16 people per square kilometre (as opposed to 116 in France and 256 in UK)! 🙂
