After coming back from our extended “weekend” camping trip we decided that we needed a tent that was smaller and lighter than our Vango Aspen DLX 7 but larger than the Easy Camp Milano 5 we had used. A quick trip to the local Go Outdoors and 2 hours later, we came away with a rather nifty bargain. We managed to bag a Hi-Gear Voyager 6 ex display with rather a lot of money off the already discounted price. Good reviews, reasonable pack size and weight and money off clinched the deal. And the best bit is that Barney cant slip under the flysheet as its a complete sewn in groundsheet all round the tent!
As with all my camping (and walking) gear purchases, I will be selling stuff to keep the cost neutral. Several tents and a trailer to sell at the weekend will cover it and more. Maybe enough for a few new chairs too….
All we have to do now is test it out 🙂
