Off to North Devon

Lynmouth Harbour

Another weekend looms and this time, we are off to North Devon to combine a bit of cycling and camping. We are basing ourselves not far from Lynmouth which has been refered to as little Switzerland by some and its easy to see why. Beautiful steep wooded valleys and cliffs surround the area.

Even better is that its by the sea and there are some stunning views from the cliffs atop the village, notably Countisbury Head

Hopefully the weather will stay good for us well at least good enough to be able to enjoy fish and chips by the harbour 🙂

Enjoy! We don’t get to venture down South very often so I look forward to my virtual visit courtesy of my inbox ^_^

Have a great time, make sure you go to the Valley of the Rocks & Watersmeet both very close to Lynmouth.

      Hi Phil,

we know the area well as we have holidayed there many times before so both are known to us. Not sure we’ll have time but might pop in to Watersmeet.

I really like the walk from Malmsmead to Watersmeet via Brendon. Very pretty and even the kids can do it!
