There’s a storm coming!

It seems we are in the direct pathway of the 80mph storm starting to hit the South Welsh coastline tonight. Sounds a bit over drammatic but people are taking it quite seriously down here. There’s sandbagging going on, train cancellations and advice to delay the morning commute! I can work from home but there are many in the area who cant. I am hoping its a storm in a teacup….I just hope the cup isnt very big!

Hope you survived OK:) Stormageddon was supposed to arrive here (Cheshire/Shropshire borders) between midnight and 6:00am. In fact the wind dropped away to almost nothing and the heavy rain of Sunday afternoon had petered out by early evening. Bring back Michael Fish and send us some proper weather to moan about!

      Hi Ian,

turns out we were lucky and the storm drifted south overnight so we only had around 45mph winds. We did however have absolutely bucketloads of rain and quite a few of the minor roads are flooded around here.

Could have been a lot worse and looking at the South of England, looks like they copped it quite badly
