Back from France….

Just a quick post to say that I’ve just returned from a magical trip with the family to France. Not to waste too many words, I thought I would just post a few pictures, including some of my cycling exploits. The highlight of the trip had to be conquering the Col du Tourmalet on my bike which is the pinnacle of the Pyrenean climbs. Lots of walking, cycling, eating and relaxing was had by all. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone!

Looks fantastic, not jealous at all….. much! Certainly a place I would like to visit for both Cycling and Walking.

you’d love it Phil. Much steadier gradients than in Wales. Means you are climbing at a good steady pace….just for a long long time thats all! Took me 1.5 hours of continuous climbing to do Tourmalet šŸ™‚

Well done! Definitely jealous:) I did the C2C with my sone and brother in law a couple of weeks ago. We are now thinking of doing Lon Las Cymru: http://cycle.travel/route/lon_las_cymru At least getting home from Holyhead is easy for us, unlike Newcastle/Sunderland.

thats a cracking route Ian. I’ve done about 2/3 of it (in separate chunks) and its superb scenery. Well worth doing

good review! I agree with you. I love this post, really enjoy when people understand how important outdoor family time is. I totally agree with you that it teaches children hard work equals good results. Lovely post.
